Openfield Creative

A Shared Strategic Design and Technology Mindset

Our team, capabilities and client engagements have grown in complexity over the years. But one founding mission remains unchanged: We expect to leave the office each day knowing we are making a real difference for our clients. It’s a lot to expect, but we’ve found that with great expectations, come great rewards.

Playing the role of Technology Strategist means a lot of things. At its core, the position requires an understanding and ability to meet the needs of many internal stakeholders within our clients' organizations. So, it's a good thing that Josh is comfortable living in the netherworld where brand strategy, design and technology execution meet. His ability to balance technical requirements and creative issues with the practicalities of budgets and schedules make him a favorite among CTOs, CMOs and CFOs.

As our company has evolved to offer a blend of creative and technology consultation and execution, his multi-disciplinary background and easy-going nature allows him to bring a unique perspective to the core of OFC. It's not often that you find someone who has worn so many hats. With over 16 years experience playing a variety of roles on digital solutions of all scales, Josh provides solid strategy and executional oversight for OFC's digital assignments.

Prior to forming OFC, Josh served as an account lead at Hyperquake in Cincinnati. During his years of service there, he focused himself on providing the highest level of service and insight for clients the likes of P&G, HGTV, RCA, and The Kroger Company. He began his career with Resource Interactive in Columbus, OH. There he was exposed to the processes and values of a leading-edge company with extremely high expectations for creativity, service and personal integrity. These values continue to be a common thread across all of Josh's experiences.

Josh was part of the first graduating class from the Digital Design program at DAAP (the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning at the University of Cincinnati).

Brandon is responsible for ensuring our clients receive best-in-class creative solutions that realize business objectives through an effective blend of strategy, design and technology. He brings a history of creative excellence to every project and his approach exemplifies the Openfield philosophy that design for digital media has evolved into its own discipline, blending the best of graphic and industrial design. His years of experience across all types of media give him a valued holistic perspective.

For more than 15 years, he has lived by the mantra that every assignment presents an opportunity to create something truly unique for his clients. Brandon's long list of recognition is grounded by the belief that accolades are meaningless unless the solutions move his clients' agendas forward. Additionally, Brandon brings a multidisciplinary viewpoint born out of years of brand identity, packaging and print solutions and offers a big-picture perspective that is often lacking within firms solely focused on digital solutions.

Prior to forming Openfield Creative, Brandon served as Design Director at HyperQuake, a Cincinnati-based agency specializing in digital strategy and branding. There, his talent and dedication impacted a wide range of clients including Warner Bros., HGTV, KnowledgeWorks Foundation and Biz. At Stoltze Design, a Boston-based firm known for its legacy of industry recognition, Brandon served as Art Director where he continued to hone his approach with clients such as MIT, Harvard Business School, Rockport Publishers and Cakewalk Music Software.

Brandon is a graduate of DAAP (the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning at the University of Cincinnati).
